About
The Society of Reliability, Quality and Safety was founded in 1998 as a registered association for improved enforcement of its aims and concerns. A particular concern is to bring together theoretical and applied research conducted in the fields represented by the society. Futher, the society maintains relationships to other organisations and special interest groups, and it aims at supporting junior scientists. In order to reach those aims, we organize a series of biannual workshops and contribute to other conferences.
The society represents and especially supports the advancement of the following established scientific fields:
- Change point analysis and statistical control of processes with applications
- Life cycle analysis and reliability method
- Quality management
- Stochastic models and methods in science and technology
- Surveillance and Monitoring
- Time series analysis
enriched by related areas and new fields of research with methodological intersections, in particular hot topics such as
- Computational statistics and stochastics
- Environmetrics
- Energy (renewable, photovoltaics)
- Finance statistic
